Girls’ Empowerment Mission (GEM) is in Need of Virtual Mentors!

Open Opportunity
This event has been cancelled.

Are you a passionate woman who wants to make a difference in a girl’s life? Are you able to commit to helping a girl through her high school years? Have you had life experiences that would help our girls with their futures? Do you have an hour twice a month to spend with your new friend?

If you’ve answered yes to one or more of these questions, and you’re located in Maryland or the Baltimore Metro area, this opportunity may be a great fit for you!

Girls’ Empowerment Mission is a program to empower high school girls from underserved communities by providing opportunities and growth experiences that will enable them to become independent, self-sufficient, and confident young women.GEM mentors are volunteers who are an essential part of GEM’s large and extended family for our girls. Mentors are unbiased supporters that help our girls reach their full potential by spending quality time with their mentee twice a month.

We will be running all mentoring training, communication, and meetings virtually through at least the fall.
