Empowering Communities with Tools for Change

The Baltimore Community ToolBank serves the servers in acute and protracted crises, including in the COVID-19 era. Early in the crisis, we donated N95 masks and nitrile gloves to medical care providers and continue to empower frontline service workers with safety equipment, hand sanitizer and gear to help them respond to needs across our shared community. This includes providing equipment to partners distributing hot meals and bulk produce to neighbors in need as well as equipping emergency service providers with gear to help test for and trace the virus as well as establish pop-up vaccinations sites.

In addition to acute response during the pandemic, we empower partners across all manner of impact areas. Support for the ToolBank allows us to share with partners as they combat food and housing insecurity, build safe spaces for youth to play, establish community gardens and so much more. Your support in any amount will echo throughout our network.

As the needs of our shared community are diverse, so are our partners. The beauty of giving to the ToolBank is that you support us and multiple partners at the same time. Without stepping in front of those we serve to claim their work as our own, we know our tools are used by students, veterans and organizations that combat the most entrenched problems in our city and region.
