Since 1991, Shepherd’s Clinic has been an innovator in providing health care for the uninsured. Shepherd’s Clinic is located at 2800 Kirk Avenue. The facility houses medical, behavioral health, and wellness services Since 1991, Shepherd’s Clinic has been providing healthcare to uninsured adults in Baltimore. Today, the clinic operates with 15 staff members, and over 200 students and professionals volunteering clinically and administratively to provide services to over 800 patients annually. The types of case management and community relationships which the clinic has pioneered for the uninsured for more than two decades are now considered models of cost-efficient and effective care. This holistic and integrative approach proves to be effective in best meeting a variety of needs for patients.
